Committees

Executive Committee
This comprises those duly elected officers who have the responsibility of managing the day to day affairs of the league.
It also has two employed personnel Marie Higgott, Secretary Treasurer and Isobel Drysdale, Handicap Manager.

Tournament Committee & Match and Greens
Is responsible for the running of pennants.
Co-ordination of results, application of the rules of golf. Settlement of disputes and in general that the good name of the league is maintained.
Also responsible for the setting and co-ordination of the next years fixtures.

Course Rating Team
Responsible for applying the formulae as laid down to determine the A.C.R. of the golf courses used by the League in general play.
These determinations are used by the clubs in assessing and applying the handicap system to its members.

Merit Medal Social Committee
Every two years the W.A.G.L. awards to a member nominated by each club a merit medal for services to their club.
It is this committee's responsibility to co-ordinate the nominations and to organise a function for these awards to be presented to the recipients.
